So Saturday night me and my boyfriend went to our friends house party/birthday party so I went pretty casually but added some key pieces to dress it up a bit such as my favourite new necklace which I purchased off depop and wear for any occasion along with a large snake print clutch bag from miss selfridges. The black cami from Primark is such a handy piece to have for any sort of night out as it is so easy to make a simple outfit from it and it was so cheap for £4, such a bargain against the ones Topshop has. My loving high waist skinnies are from New Look for a bargain £20 which a paired with my favourite sandal flatforms from Topshop which I purchased last year for around £30 and as I am so indecisive I bought the same pair in white too! The denim jacket just brings all the colours together and was great as a light layer to keep me warm through the night.
So Thursday 20th March My friend Leanne had her uni fashion show for the BA first years at Middlesex University in Hendon, so she asked me if I would like to model for some of the designers so of course I said yes. It was the first fashion show ive done out of school art and textile catwalks. It was a really fun experience and glad I did it. At first glance I didnt even recognise myself in the catwalk images. The make up was beautiful with the gold foil covering my eyes and eyebrow it was truly beautiful. Furthermore well done to all the designers who all produced such amazing garments and pulling of the show overall.
On Monday 24th March I went to the O2 with my friend Della to go see The Weeknd and Drake and it was next level amazing, the energy throughout was good and Drakes performance was phenomenal.
So 2 weeks ago Example posted a link on his twitter for a free gig his doing the following night in Fulham which was being filmed for an MTV show, so me and my friend went a long and it was pretty good, it was a 75minute so although at first it felt a bit set up he made a great performance.
Outfit of the day on this lovely sunny day in London
Jacket: Love London
Jumper: Next
Jeans: New Look
Shoes: Topshop
Backpack: H&M
Knitted Infinity Scarf: Primark
Saatchi Gallery: My favourite Room
A walk down by the Thames with 2 of my applied art homies Kelly and Rahib
The six of us started the day by visiting the Saatchi Gallery on our inset day to do our art work which was really good. The gallery never fails to impress me. After that we went to the poshest McDonald's ive ever seen in Sloane Square. 3 of us left to go home and me, Kelly and Rahib decided to stay and venture out in London, taking a random bus and ending up by the Thames and having a walk about followed by taking a bus to South Kensington and visiting the cool Science Museum and Natural History Museum having a bite to eat at Pret and then finally heading home after that.
Overall it was a very productive inset day and my outfit was perfect for the weather today not too hot or too cold. I hope you are all enjoying the lovely sunny weather in England too x
Miracle! It was surprisingly sunny and warmer in London today. Photography creds to my girl Ellisa Husseiyn. Some outfit of the day snaps of me and Nick as we were wondering around to take some photographs for our school work during lesson. Now for the details....
Choker and faux Fur Stole: Ebay// Faux Leather Vest, Leigh Jeans, Trainers and Gloves: Topshop// Bag: H&M// Tartan Coat and 'On Wednesdays we wear pink' T-shirt: Love clothing
The most guilty free online shopping from LOVE clothing when I purchased the T-shirt and jacket, as I kindly received a £50 voucher in my goodybag from their event earlier this month and free p+p as an added bonus. The jacket is great for this weather to layer with as the weather is getting warmer and it can easily be smartened up and for the tshirt, you cant go wrong with a Mean Girls based quote on clothing.
Awkward stances of me...well anyways to the outfit. My jacket is from topshop via Ebay// Jumper: George Asda// High waisted Jeans: New Look// Shoes: Topshop
So on Saturday I went to the Natural History Museum in South Kensington with my mum and her boyf to visit the new exhibition the have their on about the evolution of Man which was really good and then we looked around the rest of museum. Definitely one of my favourite museums along side the science museum ( Still a little kid at heart). After our visit we took a walk to the hilton hotel to have afternoon tea which was really cute, but I forgot to take any pictures there but it was just really casual.
Odd location I know, but I had just finished shooting Eleni for my photography work at school and we were doing that in the dark room so once we finished Eleni took my ootd pictures. It has been quite a while since I have posted an OOTD post on here too.
Outfit details: Beanie-Ebay// Coat- Topshop// Scarf-Primark// Cardigan-NewLook// Top-George// Jeans- Topshop (Leigh)// Shoes- they were mums so im not sure// Lipstick- Topshop (Depth)
Heres a couple of photographs I took of the beautiful Eleni for my photography theme 'fashion photography' ( I was focusing on hair and make up for these). It is my first go at fashion photography, however I fancied a change from my usual urban/rural type landscape or location shoots.
