OMLET HAMSTER CAGE REVIEW

Thursday, October 29, 2015

The cage totals to 82cm in height and has a storage compartment at the bottom for food, bedding and cleaning products. The top floor is equipped with a wheel, hard flooring, his food bowl and water bottle. Thor goes through odd stages where he will burrow naturally on the bottom level, to sleeping in his house or to bringing all his bedding upstairs to snooze. Its cute seeing him wake up upstairs, however he causes a lot of mess and seeing as he hates the nose of the hoover he does no favours for himself. It is such an easy to clean cage as you just twist the tube up securely so your small furry bundle of joy stays in the upstairs compartment and you are left with the easy task of pulling out the plastic compartment to empty and clean it. When your done you simply just slide and lock the plastic box back in and twist the tube back down. If you want to clean the top compartment there are hinges that you just undo so you can wipe the surfaces clean.

The aesthetics of the cage are great to as it doesn't look like your ordinary cage, but instead looks like home decor so will fit nicely into any rooms be it your bedroom or living room. You have a choice of 3 wood colours and you choose if you want a cage with storage space or not. I'll leave the link to the product so you can have a more detailed look and read of the product, but i'd really recommend it if your looking for a new cage. Hamster cage

Meet Thor, my syrian hamster who is utterly adorable! Being a larger hamster he loves his cage. I remember upgrading him to this cage (if your good with IKEA flat packs then you will be able to set this cage up with ease) and he was so overjoyed with being able to burrow properly and having so much space. It took him about 30 mins to fully get the hang of the tube, but now he wizzes between the 2 floors with ease.
